
John Van Neumann was a hungarian mathematician and polymath. He was born on 28 December 1903 in Budapest Austria-Hungary, and died on February 8, 1957 in Washington, D.C., United States. He has studied in a couple of european universities such as in Budapest, Getynga, Hamburg and Berlin. Apart of mathematics he was also keen on technological studies, engineery and physics. He had a key figure in the development of a game theory and the concepts of cellular automata, the universal constructor, and the digital computer.
